The Christmas with the kids 2018 edition was indeed a success.

We decided to divide the program into two parts to make it more meaningful. The first part was the medical screening which took place on the 21st of December, 2018 at the Power of Love Foundation Home where we successfully attended to almost 100 children in the vicinity. We had a Pediatrician on board from the University Of Ghana Hospital (Dr. Agyeiwaa Tetteh) and other volunteer doctors assisting on that day. Indeed, parents of the children were very much impressed by the care they received on that day.

The second part was the climax of the event and that included party and fun games with the children on the 22nd of December, 2018. The event started at 9.00 hrs and ended at 16.00 hrs with the number of children in attendance far exceeding our expectation. We had about 200 children in all ranging from as little as 1 year to as old as 16 years.

The event started with a short Christmas program which included poetry recitals, singing of Christmas carols, Puppet show and choreography displays by the Power of Love Foundation Home.

Then came the games which was nicely coordinated by the kids entertainer and other attractions like the bouncy castle and trampoline were equally patronized by the children. Food, drinks and water was also in abundance not forgetting the gift that each child received as a nice Christmas present.

We hope to see another successful event in the next edition.
